Sorry Spring HTTP Invoker ごめんなさい

 

Continue to the previous blog. It was my bad. Initially, I thought it may be the issue with Swing, and then, I got pretty sure that the issue with Java proxy within another Java proxy, and finally, I found that some of domain classes are incompatible to the ones in server side. Since HTTP Invoker uses Java serialization, both client and server sides’ classes must be the same, but to make classes serializable at client side, I needed to update some of properties in the child domain. So, if only parent domain is sent, it works, but if it is with child domain, it died with error 500 due to local class version # difference in client and server sides. I was taking another way than HTTP Invoker and happened to find the local class version# difference. I really think that it saves my summer vacation!

 

前のブログの続き。問題は私が悪かったのです。最初は、Swingの関係からか、そして、それは、Java　Proxyを２重に使っているからと、最後に、ドメインオブジェクトの、バージョンがクライアントとサーバーで違っていた。HTTP　Invokerは、Javaのシリアライゼイションを使っているから、そのバージョンが一致しなくてはいけない。クライアント側で、オブジェクトをSerializableにするために、チャイルドドメインクラスのプロパーティを更新しなくてはいけなかった。だから、メインのドメインクラスだけで、テストした時は動いたけど、チャイルドを付け加えると、動かなくなった。たまたま、HTTP　Invoker以外の方法をテストしている時に気づいた。ほんとうに、僕の夏休みを救うことができたと思う！

Spring HTTP Invoker and Swing (JDK 1.3.1)

What a surprise! If I try to run spring HTTP Invoker within Swing, I get IOException error. If I move exact same code to the place before running Swing, it works. What does it mean? I don’t know. I can’t think about what’s wrong, but at least I need to find out a solution….currently only one–instantiate another process and run spring HTTP invoker from there…uhhhh, ugry! 

信じられない！SpringのHTTP InvokerはSwingの中で、動かない！IOExceptionエラー。全くそのままのコードをSwingが始まる前に移動させて場合は大丈夫。これはどお言う事か？わからない。何が悪いのだ。少なくとも、解決策が必要。もうひとつのプロセスを作って、そこで、Spring HTTP Invokerを走らせる。みっともない！

Turtle 亀

 Yesterday, in the morning, we had rain. After the rain stopped, I walked outside to pick up newspaper. On the way to the post, I found a turtle walking. It’s a ground turtle because we don’t have a pond near here. Since I have lived here in 2001, I saw this three or four times. Whenever I see it, it makes me happy. I guess it is my neighbor.

 

昨日の朝、雨だった。雨があがってから、新聞を取りに外を歩く。ポストに行く途中、亀を見つける。それは、陸亀。なぜかというと、近くに池がないから。２００１年から、ここに住んで、３回か４回ぐらいこの亀にあってる。会うたびに嬉しくなる。隣人（亀）か。

Gate 2 門２

 

Finally, I have completed to build the gate for my private road. Putting hinges is the most difficult part. My daughter helped me to hold the gate for a while under a big strong sun shine. I noticed she was getting tired of it under the sun shine. I let her under the shade. Since it was still morning, she quickly recovered and helped me again. Well, I need to take a picture of the gate and show it here …

 

とうとう、門が完成。ちょうつがいをつける所がもっとも困難なところ。娘が門を持つのを太陽の光の暑い中、手伝ってくれてた。太陽の暑さでだんだん娘がつかれてくるのがわかった。日陰で彼女を休ませる。まだ朝だったので、彼女はすぐに回復、そして、また手伝ってくれた。門の写真を撮って、ここで紹介してみたい。

西遊記 Journey to the West

アメリカでは、多分あまりしられていないけど、GokuまたはSongokuと聞けば知る人もいるかもしれない。たまたま家に、３巻からなる西遊記があって、今ちょうど１巻めがおわったところ。おもしろい。日本のいわゆる妖怪というものは中国から来たことがよく分かるし、忍者の使う術というものも、やっぱり中国からなのかと思う。天界、霊界、そして人間が住む世界。子供がNarutoと言う漫画を見てるが、彼らの術もここから来ている。

 

Not so many people don’t know about a Chinese book, “Journey to the West” in US. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journey_to_the_West) If you hear “Goku” or “Songoku”, you might know it. I happen to have this book that consists for three books, and I just finished the first one. It is interesting and funny. I think that Japanese Yukai comes from China as well as tricks from Nija come from China. A world consists of three: God’s world, Yukai’s world, and people’s world. My kids watches Naruto on DVD. I guess their tricks are also originated from here.

Cub and Peach 小熊と桃

 

This evening, I was on the way to the peach place. A cub was crossing the road. It was not big so that it must be a cub. Well, we had a bit of surprise before the peach pick. It’s been for a while since the last peach pick. After we picked it, I realize that there is a better way to pick peach. When we start picking, we should pick the ones that are not soft first. Usually, you get a paper bag for picking. So, you put harder ones first at the bottom. Later or at last, we should pick the sweet ones so that you can eat it at home after coming home. Also, weight makes peach pressed; therefore, harder ones are good against it.

 

ちょっと暗くなりかけた頃に、桃摘みに行く途中、小熊が道を横切る。その熊は大きくなかったので、カブにちがいない。桃摘み前のちょっとした驚きだった。前回の桃つみからは、かなり経っていた。摘み終わってから、これには摘み方があるときずく。摘み始めは、硬いのから。大概紙の袋をもらって、摘み始める。硬いのが底にいく。そして、終わりかけにやわらかいのを。家に帰ってから、すぐにそれが食べれる。それから、重さで、桃がつぶれる。だから、硬いのが底にいくのはちょうどいい。

Verizon Customer Service ３

I wrote blog about Version Customer Service twice. I wrote I had some billing issue and called customer service twice. I have a story after that. Today, I called 5^th time to the customer service, and finally I could get what I wanted, which is to clear my balance. I’m sure to make it complete I need to call 6^th time some time after the next billing cycle to ask about credit from Verizon. As to first 2 customer services, probably, they did not know how to return credit back to me. Third one, it seems she knows a bit, but she could not keep promise that balance would be cleared in 7 days. Fourth one, she really made credit back in one day, but she forgot to credit $0.20 back even though I told her clearly. So Fifth one, she credit $0.20 back to me, I hope because I don’t know until tomorrow. I think they need to spend billing training to the customer service as well as correct not-so-smart-accounting system.

 

これまで２回ボライズンのカスタマーサービスについて書きました。（ボライズンとは、NTTみたいなもの）支払いの件で問題あって２かい電話をしました。それから落ちがあって、今日で５回目なのです。やっとのことで、うまくいきました。でも、来月の決算が終わって、６回目も多分かけないと完全ではないだろうな。最初の２人のカスタマーサービスは、多分どうやって、お金を返すのか知らなかったに違いない！３人めは、すこししっているようだったけど、７日にバランスをきれいにするという約束を守れなかった。４人めは、やっとお金を１日でかえしてくれたけど、２０セント返し忘れた。ちゃんといったんだけど。５人めが２０セントを返してくれる予定。明日になるとそれが分かる。ボライズンはもっとカスタマーサービスのトレーニングが必要。そして、ちょっと足りない会計システムをもっと良くしなくては！

Parking Lot at Vienna Station ヴィエナ駅の駐車場

I had a meeting at the Union Station at 1:00 PM today. I left office at 11:30AM. I was supposed to have an enough time to get there, but I got there at 1:20 PM. There were one big and small obstacle. The big one was the parking space at Vienna station. I took 30 minutes to find one spot! Actually, I could not find any spot and decided to park somewhere else and just before the exit of the parking building, an employee there told me I could park a reserved place. There are so many reserved spaces at 4 and 5 floors, but it says we need permission. How come we need permission to park a public place? And even worse there are no spaces at noon time.

 

ユニオンステーションで1時から今日はミーティング。オフィスを11時半に出て、十分時間があったはず。しかし着いたのは1時20分。大きいのと小さい障害のため。大きいほうは、ヴィエナ駅での駐車場。30分も車ひとつ止まるところを見つけるのにかかった。実際、あきらめかけて、駐車場を出る前に、そこで働いている人から、リザーブされているところにとめていいと言われた。4階５階には、リザーブがいっぱい空いていた。けれども、そこには、パミションがいるとのこと。どうして、公共の駐車場で、パミションがいるのか？さらに悪く、お昼時に、車を止めるところがないなんて！

Wooden Work and Software 木工の仕事とソフトウェア

Wood work is like software development. Both have design and building, but both are totally different. For wooden work, you should not cut all woods from the beginning as designed. Once you cut wood, it will change its shape. Also, you realize your measurement mistake. For example, when I built the gate, I should have cut wood only for one door, but I did cut the wood for both. Now, I have about 1/3 wood leftover, and even worse, all woods are already cut. I need to make up a project. Luckily, I have one!

 

木工の仕事とソフトウェアの仕事は似ている。どちらも、デザインがあり作る作業がある。でも、ぜんぜん違う。木工では、最初にデザインどうり、全部の木を切ってはいけない。いったん切ると、木の形が変わる。それに、はかり間違いしているかもしれない。例えば、私の門の話で、片方のドアーだけの分の木を切るべきだった。でも、全部切ってしまって、3分の1ほど木が余ってしまった。悪いことにそれらの木は全部切られている。何かプロジェクトを考えないと。運良く、ひとつあるのです！
